Laser Resurfacing Before And After

Laser Resurfacing Overview | Treatment | Cost

Laser resurfacing has changed a great deal since the mid-’90s. The expectations for how much recovery time is necessary and how much improvement is possible for conditions such as acne scars and wrinkles, have both decreased dramatically. The shift that has occurred in our industry is predicated on the idea that newer laser technology can create the same kinds of results as more traditional laser resurfacing but without downtime.

In our opinion, nothing could be further from the truth and our laser resurfacing before and after photos below prove it. With a little more recovery time, you can get dramatically better results. View some of our laser resurfacing before and after pictures of actual patients. We have performed thousands of laser resurfacing procedures at our Celibre Medical clinics using only the best FDA-approved lasers available.

We treat the following with traditional full field and fractional laser resurfacing:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Smoker’s Lines
  • Under-eye crepiness
  • Acne scars
  • Surgical scars
  • Crow’s feet
  • Frown (11) lines

How is our traditional full-field laser resurfacing different than fractional laser resurfacing? The first method – full-field resurfacing – uses 100% coverage of the skin and essentially smooths the skin by removing the epidermis (outer layer) and the upper dermis (second, collagen layer). For surface wrinkles like smoker’s lines and crow’s feet like you see in the before and after photos, traditional full-field resurfacing works best.

It also has more recovery time than fractional resurfacing. Fractional laser resurfacing works well for acne and surgical scars – situations where we need to get deeper into the skin to remodel collagen. Both have a place in our practice and the reason our before and after pictures are compelling is that we offer both.
