Perlane Injections

Perlane was FDA approved in May of 2007 for the correction of moderate to severe, deep facial folds and wrinkles such as the nasolabial (laugh lines) folds. This product is a hyaluronic acid (HA) filler similar to our other filler products – Restylane & Juvederm. Medicis Aesthetics, the manufacturer of Perlane & Restylane, is a respected name in our industry with their products being used for over 6 years and in over 70 countries.

Because our bodies naturally contain hyaluronic acid (HA), these cosmetic dermal fillers are biocompatible with our own hyaluronic acid and require no allergy testing. This product integrates naturally into the body’s own tissue – drawing water to the treated area for a continued volumizing effect. The Perlane molecules are identical to those of Restylane but have a larger particle size for the correction of deeper folds and wrinkles. Perlane offers a deeper structural support which results in a beautiful aesthetic outcome. Outcomes and correction of facial shaping are individualized, however Perlane effects are recognized as lasting at least 6 months and up to 9 months for many.
