Sculptra Before and After

Overview | Treatment | Cost

As you can see from reviewing the Sculptra before and after photos below, it is one of the most unique injection products in our industry.  Because Sculptra uses different material than any other filler injection product, it has been successful at doing what the others can’t – developing your own collagen.  One of the things that makes it so unique is that it can be used for all areas of the body.

Sculptra is made of poly-L-lactic acid.  This material is the same as is used in dissolvable stitches used with surgical wounds.  The reason this material is used for stitches and in Sculptra is that when it’s placed in the skin, it causes the body to make collagen.  The collagen surrounds tiny particles of poly-L-lactic acid and this, in turn, adds volume to the skin.

Conditions we’ve successfully used Sculptra to treat:

  • Facial augmentation at the cheek hollows, cheekbones, and temples
  • Buttock Indentations after BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift)
  • Cellulite pockets (indents) at the thighs, hips, and buttocks
  • Traumatic injuries that leave deep indentations at the torso or legs
  • Asymmetrical breasts
  • Loose skin at the décolleté
  • Loose skin above the knees
  • Indentations and atrophy caused by steroid injections

In addition to the unique treatment options that Sculptra has to offer (see the before and after photos), there’s also the added benefit of the treatment duration.  Sculptra has been shown to last 2, 3, and even 5 years.  Currently, the company is in clinical trials to receive FDA approval for a 5-year duration.
